Ahh Home....

Wow this weekend was pretty good. Busy and good.

We went to Greenpoint this weekend, for lilys friends first birthday party. On the way home, we decided to stop in and see my dad. He was More then elated to see her. He loves that kid so much, i think its incredible. We only stayed for maybe a half hour cause, Lily was exhausted from the party and it was already 6 pm. As soon as we put her in her seat .. her eyes rolled in the back of her head and she was out.

On our way home, Michael and i stopped to get some Keilbasa, Peirogis and rye bread. Then we stopped and got some famous peter pan bakery donuts. We just couldnt help ourselves, we cut up the keilbasa, then put it on the fresh rye bread and ate while we sat in traffic..lol We even ate slices of DRY rye bread.. cause it was just soo fresh. And ate a donut on the way home too..LOL We love GP, I miss GP.

GP is changing so much tho. There are so many condos being built, and at record speeds! I swear in about 10 years.. GP will lose all its old familiar charm and you wont recognize it. :( So sad.

So my mom wasnt home when we were there with Lily, she was up the avenue. But we left her a diaper to see that she was there..LOL Well the funny thing is, that when we got back to NJ I noticed i had a Voicemail on my phone. So i check it as im walking into the supermarket to get sour cream for our peirogis. It was my mother, saying how she wants me to come stop by with Lily to see daddy cause he really isnt feeling well. Then my phone rang again, it was her calling to say how upset she was that she missed Lilys visit.. LOL I told her that I just heard her message and i stopped by before i even heard it and laughed. We believe things like that happen cause they are supposed to happen.

Well, truth is my dad isnt feeling well. He says he feels like he did before he went into the hospital. :( Still waiting to hear from Columbia. Although, i did some research on stem cells and heart disease for my dad, and sent the info to my mom.. the right winged republican..LOL

All in all.. Great weekend :) Hugs and kisses to Greenpoint
